Mike moves slowly through the natural world — waiting for the light to arrive, for the mist to settle, for the moment when a landscape reveals something true about itself. When nature puts on a show for anyone who becomes part of the landscape and pays attention.
Poetography is the art of listening with a lens. Each image is a line in an ongoing conversation with nature, or even a poem unto itself. Poetography enables the viewer to better appreciate the photography by providing more context for the photos. Every photo represents a story, an experience for the photographer. However, this experience isn't always represented in the photo. Poetography allows the viewer/reader to share in the photographer's experience.
